The Historic Zion Baptist Church, a beacon of faith and fellowship at 801 Washington Street, joyfully invites the community to our Annual Women’s Day Observance on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. This vibrant worship service will uplift hearts and spirits under the theme “Women of Faith Walking in God’s Purpose,” inspired by Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

About the Speaker

Pastor Kelly Nicole “Nikki” Moultrie, the visionary leader of The Brook in Columbia, is the esteemed guest speaker. Known affectionately as “Pastor Nikki” to her congregation and “Nikki” to her loved ones, she brings an infectious enthusiasm for God’s Word and an unwavering commitment to empowering others. Co-founding The Brook alongside her husband, Bishop Simeon Moultrie, Pastor Nikki has cultivated a ministry renowned for its heart for the hurting. At The Brook, she’s often heard rallying her flock with messages like, “Say ‘Yes’ to God, and watch Him unlock your next level,” a call to action that has reverberated far beyond Columbia’s borders, even inspiring a viral consecration prayer shared across social media.

Pastor Nikki’s journey is as remarkable as her ministry. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, she once counseled individuals toward emotional healing before God called her to pastor souls toward spiritual wholeness. A little-known gem about her? She’s an avid

encourager of women’s ministries, often hosting intimate gatherings at The Brook where she shares practical wisdom — like how to “walk in purpose even when the path feels unclear” — drawn from her own life and faith. Her sermons, marked by warmth and relatability, have earned her wide recognition, yet she remains a humble servant, often spotted praying one-on-one with congregants after services.

Pastor Nikki Moultrie’s presence promises to add a fresh, anointing as she unpacks the theme “Women of Faith Walking in God’s Purpose,” drawing from her experiences at The Brook, where she’s led initiatives to feed the hungry, mentor youth, and uplift families—all while preaching that “purpose isn’t a destination, but a daily walk with God.”

Zion’s Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the worship service at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to this celebration of faith, purpose, and sisterhood. The color for the day will be white with red accessories.
