“We were both pleased and excited to share our research with a receptive and engaged audience,” Dr. Jones-Brown said. “We hope the takeaway from our presentation will be helpful to all who work with students in middle school.”

At the conference, Dr. Jones-Brown provided an overview of the importance of morphology in language and literacy development and further explained the impact of morphological intervention on vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, and decoding. She also shared real-life exam-

SC State University ples showcasing the positive outcomes of morphology intervention and provided an analysis of student progress and improvements in language and literacy skills. Out of the 31 students who participated in the morphology intervention, an impressive 7 5 % of students showed an increase in scores in both math and literacy. This success can be attributed to the effective implementation of evidence-based strategies integrated into engaging online learning platforms.
