March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, a time to highlight the challenges faced by individuals living with brain injury and the resources available to support them. Brain injury impacts thousands of South Carolinians each year, but awareness and support can make a life-changing difference. The Walk, Run & Roll is an opportunity to support survivors and rally around their strength and resilience.

“Brain injury doesn’t just affect individuals—it impacts families, workplaces, and entire communities,” said Joyce Davis, Executive Director of BIASC. “By participating in the Walk, Run & Roll, we stand with survivors and ensure critical resources are available for those in need.”

The Walk, Run & Roll for Brain Injury Awareness is a statewide fundraiser supporting BIASC’s mission to create a better future through brain injury prevention, research, education, and advocacy. About the Brain Injury Association of SC (BIASC)

BIASC is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by brain injury through education, advocacy, and community support. As the “voice” of brain injury in South Carolina, BIASC represents the brain injury community by serving on key committees and task forces, including the SC Brain Injury Leadership Council, the state’s advisory body on brain injury. BIASC is the only organization in S.C. specializing in brain injury, offering unparalleled expertise, resources, and support. The 501(c)(3) organization relies on fundraising, grants, sponsorships, memberships, and donations to operate its statewide office and provide essential services to individuals and families impacted by brain injury.
