Orangeburg County School District (OCSD) is proud to announce that two 12th-grade students from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, Tyrese Keitt and Shaliyah Seawright, have been recognized by Big Future for their exceptional performance on the PSAT. Both students have been awarded the National African American Recognition and Rural Recognition for their remarkable scores.
The Big Future National Recognition Programs celebrate students who achieve top PSAT scores while meeting rigorous academic standards. To qualify for this prestigious recognition, Tyrese and Shaliyah demonstrated their excellence by scoring within the top 10 % of test-takers in their award program across the state. Additionally, they maintained a cumulative GPA of ^ { \mathrm { B + } } or higher, showcasing their dedication to academic success. As part of their eligibility, both students identify as African American and attend school in a rural area, meeting all criteria for this national honor.
