Students awarded $ 1,500 scholarships from the Coley

In a heartfelt tribute to a legacy of educational excellence, two Allen University seniors were awarded scholarships to help them cross the final milestone of their academic journeys. The scholarships, each valued at $1,500, were presented to Jermisha L. Moss and Preston Conner, Jr., as part of the Coley M. Washington Scholarship Fund.
The awards were presented by Donald, Jacqueline, and James Washington, in loving memory of their late mother, Coley M. Washington, a 1955 graduate of Allen University. The scholarships aim to support deserving students by alleviating debt and ensuring they are able to graduate without financial barriers.
