Benedict College is pleased to announce significant growth in new student enrollment for the Fall 2024 academic semester, marking the highest new student enrollment since the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 554 new students have enrolled at Benedict College, an increase of 1 8. 4 % from the previous year.
This year’s incoming class includes 419 first-time, firstyear students, a remarkable 31.4% increase from 338 in Fall 2023. These numbers represent a three-year high and reflect the success of Benedict College’s strategic enrollment initiatives.

In addition to the increase in new students, Benedict College continues to attract a diverse and vibrant student body. This year, students have come from 25 states, reaching from the Carolinas to California and as far North as Connecticut and as far South as the U.S. Virgin Islands. The class also includes students from Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan and Massachusetts.
Additionally, the College is proud to welcome students from the Bahamas, Kenya, and Barbados. Approximately 57 % of the new student population hails from the state of South Carolina, further affirming Benedict College’s
commitment to serving the educational needs of its home state while maintaining a global perspective.
