The South Carolina Caribbean Festival (SCCF) is bringing the vibrant energy of the Caribbean back to Columbia, SC June 11–14, 2026 with four days and seven events celebrating Caribbean culture, music, food, and community during Caribbean American Heritage Month.
Hosted primarily at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds, SCCF 2026 will feature a dynamic lineup of events including fetes, a paint/ water/powder experience, live DJs, cultural entertainment, and the highly anticipated Carnival Road Parade and FREE Family-Friendly Block Party on Saturday, June 13.
Observed nationally each June, Caribbean American Heritage Month recognizes the rich culture, history, and contributions of Caribbean people throughout the United States. Festival organizers say SCCF serves as an opportunity to celebrate and showcase those traditions right here in the Midlands. The festival continues to grow
each year, attracting attendees from across South Carolina and neighboring states while also creating opportunities for local vendors, small businesses, performers, nonprofits, and community organizations.
“This festival is more than just a party, it’s a celebration of Caribbean culture, community, and connection,” said Fiona Peru, Media & Marketing Chair for South Carolina Caribbean Festival. “We’re excited to continue creating a space where people from all backgrounds can come together and experience the
music, food, energy, and traditions of the Caribbean while honoring Caribbean American Heritage Month.”
Vendor opportunities are still available for businesses interested in participating in the festival weekend.
The South Carolina Caribbean Festival will take place June 11–14, 2026 at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds, located at 1200 Rosewood Drive in Columbia, SC.
