On November 8th, 2025, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. observed its National Community Service Initiative. Guided by this year’s theme, “Hearts in Action: Serving Hope, Restoring Dignity,” The Beta Epsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter proudly partnered with the Zeta Theta (USC) and Beta Epsilon (Benedict College) undergraduate chapters to make a meaningful impact within our community.
This year, their collective efforts centered on St. Lawrence Place, an 18-unit transitional housing facility supporting families on their path toward long-term stability. Each household was provided with essential items and
nonperishable goods, while also ensuring that every child in the home received thoughtful support and encouragement.
Through sisterhood, service, and shared compassion, the sorority members worked to restore dignity, uplift hearts, and bring hope to the families of St. Lawrence Place.
