The Iota Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamm Rho Sorority, Inc. will host their annual Youth Symposium for 6 ^ { \mathrm { { t h } } } through 12th graders. The Annual Youth Symposium will focus on the arts and inspire and engage youth ages 12 through 18 through various art forms like culinary arts, dance, and performances.
Event Components:
Culinary Arts: Interactive cooking demonstration with a professional chef, allowing participants to learn basic cooking skills.
Dance: Interactive dance sessions led by professional dancers, introducing various dance styles and encouraging self-expression through movement.
Performances: Showcases by local artists, including musicians, dancers, and spoken word performers, to inspire and entertain.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.at Kathrine M. Bellfied Booker Washington Heights Cultural Arts Center, 2611 Grant Street, Columbia, SC 29203.
