Older adults in South Carolina may need extra help before, during, and after emergencies. The Senior P.R.E.P. (Planning and Resources for Emergency Preparedness) program is coming to Lexington County to share helpful information and resources.
The event, which is on Friday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at 213 Barr Road Lexington, is open to the public but geared toward older adults and those with disabilities partner agencies will play a significant role in delivering valuable information. The event focuses on fun, education, and preparedness.
Exhibitors will be available to provide information and materials related to emergencies. Each organization will have time to speak during the event and give a brief presentation if they’d like. Par-
