The South Carolina State University National Alumni Association (SCSUNAA) inducted a new slate of officers Saturday during the organization’s 35th National Convention, in Concord, North Carolina.
Yolanda Williams, a 1995 SC State graduate (at right), was inducted as the association’s 30th national president, succeeding Hank Allen, who had served since 2021. Williams, a leader in the Charlotte banking industry, previously served as the SCSUNAA’s second vice president.
Along with Williams, the SCSUNAA inducted the following officers:
• Michael Summers, first vice president Sabrina Matthews, second vice president
• Sandra Mack, financial secretary
• Pamela Thompson, recording secretary
• Trina Brown-Linning, corresponding secretary
William Asmond, treasurer
• Tikeenia White, chaplain The convention was hosted by the SCSUNAA’s Charlotte, North Carolina, Chapter at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Concord Golf Resort & Spa.
