South Carolina State University’s College of Business & Information Systems (CBIS) has received a reaffirmation of its accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for five years.
“We are proud to have the CBIS accreditation reaffirmed, which reflects our continued commitment to academic excellence, rigorous standards, and studentcentered learning,” said Dr. Frederick M.G. Evans, SC State’s provost and vice president for academic affairs. “This recognition reinforces the quality of our programs and the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students in advancing innovation and integrity in business education.”
Every five years, each AACSB-accredited school must undergo a review to demonstrate compliance with all sections of the accrediting body’s Core Requirements and Principles of Accreditation — something SC State’s CBIS has successfully done since 2001.
AACSB represents only 5 % of all business schools globally and its accreditation signifies the highest standard of excellence for business schools and their programs.
