The 1974 Bulldogs football team will celebrate the 50th anniversary of South Carolina State University’s inaugural Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) championship on Friday, Nov. 22, at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
A reception will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the ceremony at 7 \mathrm { p. m } . NFL Hall of Famer Harry Carson, the captain of the 1974 history-making team, will be the speaker.
The public is invited to attend this historic event, which will raise funds for the SC State Athletic Department. Tickets are $125 per person.
