South Carolina State University has named Hayden Erwin as the university’s Title IX coordinator/equal opportunity investigator in the Office of Equal Opportunity.
Erwin receives all Title IX complaints and investigates all complaints from the campus community, including employees and students, alleging discriminatory violations on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, national
origin, age, disability, and/or religion.
“Hayden brings both a wealth of expertise in compliance and a strong commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all members of our campus community,” SC State General Counsel Nashiba Boyd said. “This addition reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to upholding the highest standards of fairness,
transparency, and support for individuals impacted by discrimination and harassment.”
Erwin is passionate about promoting fairness, empathy, and inclusivity.
