South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster recently met with Retired Army Command Major, Robert L. Clark, the South Carolina Veteran of the Year, to highlight the amazing contributions Veterans make in our State. In recognition of his exceptional leadership and dedication to the South Carolina Veteran Community the South Carolina Department of Veteran Affairs (SCDVA) announce CSM (Ret.) Robert L. Clark as the South Carolina Veteran of the Year. His dedication and hard work have made a significant impact in the Veteran community and beyond.

CSM (R) Clark has achieved remarkable accomplishments, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the values and mission to the Veteran community in South Carolina.

CSM (R) Clark’s dedication to serving veterans extended beyond his role as the 92nd Buffalo Chapter 20 DAV Commander, as evidenced by his various additional volunteer and appointed positions he held within the South Carolina Department of Disabled Americans Veterans organization.

His commitment to veterans’ causes is exemplified by

the positions he held and the roles he undertook in other organizations in the community.

CSM (R) Clark’s desire and passion to empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity motivated and inspired others to enhance the lives of countless veterans and their families, is consistent with the mission of the South Carolina Department of Disabled American Veterans, “Keeping Our Promise to American’s Veterans”. The SCDVA congratulates CSM (R) Robert L. Clark, as he continues to serve.
