Rickenbacker Xcel’s 28th annual Alzheimer’s Fundraiser is planned for December 21, 2024. It will be held from 8 pm to 1 am at The Premier, located at 1235 Five Chop Road in Orangeburg, SC. Proceeds from the Black-Tie Gala will be used towards research for the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
This event is held in honor of the Late Saul Rickenbacker, Sr., who is the inspiration for gala. Mr. Rickenbacker was the loving father and grandfather of the sponsors. After a lengthy battle, he passed away due to complications of the disease. The money will help the battle against Alzheimer’s.
Orangeburg ranks 8th in the nation with people suffering with Alzheimer’s. We are working to help reduce this number. The non-profit organizers are asking Orangeburg and South Carolina to help by purchasing tickets for this event. Tickets may be purchased for $40 per person and $320 for a table of eight. All donations are welcome from individuals and businesses.
