Orangeburg celebrated twenty-nine years of honoring Mr. Saul Rickenbacker, Sr. on December 20, 2025, in the Garden Room in Orangeburg, SC. Donations from the Rickenbacker Family have been instrumental in fighting the cause of Alzheimer’s and has helped fund development of medication to slow the symptoms of Alzheimer’s. The guest speaker for this event was Ms. Tina McCollum. She expounded on the effects of Alzheimer’s. Also present was Dr. Jacobo Mintzer, MD., a professor in the Department of Health Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Mintzer praised the Rickenbacker

family for all their involvement with Alzheimer’s and for their efforts in raising multiple thousands of dollars for the cause. Royal Designs decorated the venue with royal blue and gold decorations. On Thanksgiving Day, Rickenbacker Xcel member, Mr. William Green volunteered at Sunday’s Girls Restaurant providing meals to the community. Donors to this year’s event were:
