Rickenbacker Foundation to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research

The Rickenbacker Xcel 29th Alzheimer’s Fundraiser is scheduled to take place on December 20, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. at The Garden Room, located at 1190 Orangeburg Mall, Orangeburg, SC. This Black-Tie Gala aims to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research through the Alzheimer’s Foundation.

The gala is held in honor of the late Saul Rickenbacker Sr., who is the inspiration for the event. Mr. Rickenbacker was a beloved father and grandfather to the sponsors and battled Alzheimer’s disease for many years. The fundraiser seeks to address the

high prevalence of Alzheimer’s in Orangeburg, which ranks eighth in the nation for the number of people suffering from this condition.

Tickets are $ 40 each and $320 for a table.
