Richland One MSAP Grant Project Director selected for Fulbright Leaders for Global Schools Program

Dr. Teresa Turner, Richland One’s Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) project director, has been selected for the Fulbright Leaders for Global Schools program.

The program sends cohorts of U.S. K–12 school administrators to participating host countries to learn about their education system and explore different strategies to prepare U.S. students with the skills and understanding necessary to address global challenges and succeed in a global economy.

the program. She will travel

to Finland in January 2026 to participate in a program designed by the U.S. Department of State and the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX), allowing her to explore the Finnish education system and collaborate with Finnish educators.

“My passion for Finnish education began during my Montessori studies, and now I have the incredible opportunity to experience it firsthand. This journey is more than just a trip—it’s a chance to learn, collaborate, and bring back innovative ideas to enhance our own educational practices. Here’s to growth, exploration and the power of global connections,” said Dr. Turner.
