The 2026 Richland One Hall of Fame Induction Gala will be held Saturday, January 10 in the Exhibit Hall at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, in partnership with the Richland One Foundation.
A red carpet reception at 5 p.m. will kick off the festivities, and the program will begin at 6 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided
by Rod Foster and Company with featured vocalist Joshua Pegram, who is a teacher at Southeast Middle School. Attire for the gala is black-tie optional. Complimentary valet parking will be provided.
Gala tickets are $ 75 each ($125 for two). Reserved tables and sponsorship opportunities also are available. Tickets may be purchased at R1GalaTickets.org or from

The Richland One Hall of Fame recognizes graduates of Richland One schools and other people throughout the district’s history who have made significant contributions to Richland One, their communities, their professions and
society. Induction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor awarded by the Richland One Board of School Commissioners; 106 men and women have been inducted since the Hall of Fame was established in 2004.
Members of the 2026 Hall of Fame induction class are: retired Richland One principal Titus Duren; U.S. District Court Judge Richard Gergel (W.J. Keenan High School
Class of 1972); retired Richland One math consultant Marlene McClerklin; businessman Brian W. Myers (W.J. Keenan High School Class of 1994); and NFL Hall of Famer Richard Seymour (Lower Richland High School Class of 1997).
