Richland One Deputy Superintendent of Academics Kelly Rivers has been selected for the Fellowship for Public Education Leadership, an executive leadership program for senior-level public education leaders run by The Broad Center at Yale University’s School of Management.
The fellowship offers leaders the opportunity to reexamine present and future challenges in public education and reimagine what is possible for students. Fellows learn about leadership and management principles and explore their own leadership approach through engaging with Yale School of Management faculty, leading education practitioners, and their cohort peers.
Rivers was one of 26 education leaders from across the country selected for the 2026-2027 cohort.
“I am honored to be selected for the Yale School of Management’s Fellowship for Public Education Leadership. This opportunity will allow me to collaborate with some of the nation’s most innovative educational leaders and gain new insights that can directly support the important work underway in Richland School District One,” said Rivers. “I look forward to bringing back strategies and best practices that will strengthen academic outcomes, support our educators, and expand opportunities for every student we serve.”
