Ashley Gilmore, the head girls basketball coach and head girls cross country coach at Eau Claire High School, was named the 2024-2025 Richland One High School Coach of the Year.
Richland One has announced the Middle School and High School Coaches of the Year for the 2024-2025 school year.
Dr. Jamarcus Little, who was the head boys basketball coach at W.A. Perry Middle School last year, was named the Middle School Coach of the Year.
“I’m so excited. I can’t believe I won. This award shows how much effort that the other coaches and I put into taking care of the athletes,” he said.
Ashley Gilmore, the head girls basketball coach and head girls cross country coach at Eau Claire High School, was named the High School Coach of the Year. The Shamrock girls basketball team won the Class AA Upper State Championship and finished their season as the runner-up for the Class AA State Championship title last year.
“I feel honored to be accepting this award. My coaches and I have worked so hard ever since I came to Eau Claire. I look forward to seeing the students work hard, give their best and never give up this school year,” said Gilmore.
