Richland One has announced the Middle School and High School Coaches of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year. The announcement was made during the district’s Coaches Convocation on August 2 at Eau Claire High School.
Terrian Gillette, the head track and field coach, assistant football coach and assistant boys basketball coach at St. Andrews Middle School, was named the Middle School Coach of the Year.
“Coach Gillette coaches multiple sports and works with students every day, even outside of athletics. He’s very much involved with the students and is a really good role model and mentor for the students at St. Andrews,” said Richland One Athletics Director Bob Matz.
Jason Sandifer, the varsity wrestling coach at Dreher High School, was named the High School Coach of the Year.
