Richland Library is proud to unveil its latest gallery exhibition, Rooted, in celebration of the 2025 Artista Vista Art Crawl. This vibrant group exhibition—curated by Artista Vista committee member and current Richland Library Artist-in-Residence Brittany Watkins—highlights the dynamic voices and eclectic experiences of artists from across the Midlands.
Community members are invited to visit Richland Library Main (1431 Assembly, 29201) and experience Rooted—a powerful tribute to the role of art in daily life. This inaugural juried exhibition brings together over 40 artists from across the Midlands, each offering a unique perspective through a variety of media, themes, and styles. From portraiture and landscape to abstraction and innovative design, Rooted is a showcase of technical excellence and creative exploration, fostering deep connections between artists and attendees while strengthening community support for the arts in our region.

Richland Library’s galleries inspire, engage, and enrich our customers, local artists, and community partners through the visual arts. Through a variety of flexible gallery spaces, the library exhibits and promotes local artists as well as welcomes nationally recognized artists, illustrators, and traveling exhibitions. Visitors to Richland Library Main can experience Rooted through May 9, 2025.
