The Richland and Lexington County Chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA), including Gamma Nu Omega, Upsilon Omega Omega, and Omega Gamma Omega, are proud to present the “Soaring to the Polls” public forum. This critical event, designed to engage, educate, and empower the
community, will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Columbia High School Auditorium.
As we approach a pivotal election year, the “Soaring to the Polls” forum aims to provide invaluable information and resources to ensure every community member is
informed and motivated to participate in the democratic process. This event will feature an appearance by Bakari Sellers, a CNN political commentator with South Carolina roots, a panel discussion with esteemed guests, voter registration opportunities, and exciting door prizes.
