State Representative Jerry Govan Jr. will host an Economic Development and Affordability Town Hall on Thursday, September 3, bringing community members together for a conversation about economic development, workforce opportunities, job creation, and affordability in South Carolina.

The town hall will provide residents with an opportunity to engage with state officials and business leaders about how South Carolina can continue attracting investment while creating good-paying jobs and making communities more affordable.
Invitations have been extended to representatives from the South Carolina State Election Commission, South Carolina Department of Commerce, South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, Scout Motors, Amazon, Boeing and Blanchard Machinery.
Rep. Govan invites members of the community and media to attend the discussion.
