U.S. Congressman James E. Clyburn (SC-06) released the following statement celebrating the U.S. Department of Transportation’s announcement of $204,200,000 for the Assembly Street Railroad Project in Columbia and $940,000 for the City of Charleston Rivers Avenue Grade Separation Planning. These projects were funded by the Rail Crossing Elimination Grant Program.
