South Carolina State University proudly announces Madison Jackson as a new Clyburn Scholar within the esteemed Dr. Emily England Clyburn Honors College.
A driven biology major from Orangeburg, South Carolina, Jackson exemplifies the commitment to academic rigor, leadership, and community service that the Clyburn Honors College fosters.

In his role as a tutor at Moss Hall, Jackson provides valuable academic support to fellow SC State students, reinforcing his dedication to helping others succeed. He also brings experience as a private tutor for the Urban Community Education Network and Training Center, where he guided local children in mathematics, combining academic support with mentorship.
