The Benedict College Master in Business Administration degree has received the highly coveted accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is a global business education accrediting body and the only organization to offer accreditation to all levels of collegiate business educational degree programs from associate to doctoral.

“Earning ACBSP accreditation is a significant milestone that validates the quality and relevance of our MBA program,” said Dr. Tracy H. Dunn, Dean of Burroughs School of Business & Entrepreneurship. “It reflects our commitment to excellence in teaching, continuous improvement, and preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of today’s global business environment.”

Beginning in August, the MBA curriculum will offer in-demand specializations through a partnership with Rize Education, Inc. This expansion will allow students to select specializations in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity, Finance, Healthcare Administration or Self-Designed, which can include multiple areas.

The accelerated MBA program can be completed in one year and is designed for working professionals seeking hybrid courses to excel in their professional careers or

continue their graduate studies.

MBA Program Director Dr. Iva Walters says, “Since the MBA program launched in July 2019, we have graduated more than 90 students. These men and women came from various academic backgrounds and institutions to learn from faculty with terminal degrees and industry experience. Our MBA graduates now hold leadership positions in Fortune 500 companies and hospital administration, as well as the most prestigious accounting firms. With the inclusion of the Rize specializations, we anticipate greater opportunities for our graduates.”

A virtual information session will be held on July 15. Individuals interested in participating in the session can RSVP at tinyurl.com/BCMasterInfo25

Applications for the May and August cohorts for the MBA program are accepted on a rolling basis. Classes begin on August 18.
