The 2024 Annual Meeting of the National Black Growers Council (NBGC) will be held December 10-12, 2024 at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston. This year’s theme is Embracing Our Roots to Cultivate a Sustainable Future.
The National Black Growers Council is an organization of multigenerational producers who advocate for the best interests of Black farmers locally, statewide, and nationally. The NBGC was organized to represent the unique needs of full-time Black farmers. Its mission is to improve the efficiency, productivity and sustainability of Black row crow famers. The
NBGC’s Board of Directors consists of 12 farmers who operate farms in 11 southern states from Virginia to Texas. Collectively, the Board farms nearly 60,000 acres of row crops.
