The South Carolina NAACP will host the 2025 Freedom Fund Celebration on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Meeting Place Banquet Center located at 201 Columbia Mall Blvd., Columbia, South Carolina 29223.
U.S. Representative for South Carolina, Congressman James E. Clyburn, will be the keynote speaker for this event. Congressman Clyburn has dedicated his life to fighting for human rights and brings a wealth of knowledge and rejuvenation to our long-standing advocacy for civil rights. a true pioneer of civil rights and social justice.
The Freedom Fund Event provides an opportunity for South Carolinians to share in the salute to outstanding individuals, organizations, and institutions in the presentation of Presidential Citations for their exceptional work and recognition in civic engagement, healthcare, social justice, and education toward the betterment of our community and society. The purpose of this event is to share with our community and leaders the work of the NAACP, the work needed, and the work that we need you to support. The funds from this event will help to promote and support housing assistance, transportation, legal advocacy, and the tireless efforts of NAACP branches throughout the state.
