23 Inductees honored in Historic Class of 2026
After more than four decades, Morris College brought back one of its most significant athletic traditions with the return of the Morris College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The historic celebration honored 23 inductees as members of the Morris College Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026, recognizing individuals whose athletic accomplishments, leadership and contributions have helped shape the legacy of Morris College Athletics.
Under the leadership of President Dr. Said Sewell and Athletic Director Frederick Summers, the return of the Athletic Hall of Fame represents an important effort to recognize and preserve the College’s rich athletic history while reconnecting generations of former student-athletes, alumni and supporters.
The Class of 2026 represents decades of achievement and dedication to Morris College. The induction ceremony provided an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the honorees and preserve their contributions as an important part of the College’s athletic history. The Morris College Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet was held Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Sumter, South Carolina.

Hammonds, Sr., Towanna Hicks, Erika Whiteside Houser, Rachel Daniels Inabinett, Alfreda Lucas, Dr. L. William Moore, Ms. Shakara Parks, Wilbert Junior Patton, Cynthia Clinkscales Paul, Latonya W. Pratt, Connie Reaves, Tyrone Sellers, and Tina Williams.
The return of the Hall of Fame after more than 40 years marks a new chapter for Morris College Athletics and renews a tradition of recognizing those who have contributed to the College’s proud athletic legacy.
