South Carolina State University has crowned two standout seniors as Miss and Mister Homecoming 2025: Kameron Cook and D’Andre Ameir Brown.
Miss Homecoming carries on a Bulldog tradition
Cook, a computer science major from Atlanta, Georgia, is the daughter of two SC State graduates — her father once suited up for the Bulldog football team. She said she is proud to continue that family legacy while making her own mark on campus.
A 2024 initiate of the Alpha Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Cook has also been a member of the women’s track and field team, the National Society of Black Engineers and 1890 Research and Extension.
She can often be found lending a hand at campus cleanups. After graduation, she plans to commission into the U.S. Air Force as a software engineer.
