On weekend January 31st, 2026 at the Action Martial Arts Mega Weekend, Matriarch Dr Germon Moriniere-Bey affectionately known as Mama G was given the award for Greatest Of All Time for her contributions to the world of Martial Science. Alan Goldberg, founder of the Action Martial Arts Mega Weekend added the G.O.A.T award this year and handpicked Mama G for the award.

Grand Matriarch Dr. Germon Moriniere-Bey, is a 74 year old Grandmother who has been on an historical journey which

includes, capturing 6,001 trophies, four world gold medals and two world titles. She is the only recognized Woman referred to as “Askari” (Torch Bearer) by her male colleagues as the first female in modern history to have been recognized as an Elder in the Afrikan Martial Sciences. Dr. Germon “Askari Mwalimu” Moriniere-Bey has appeared on television shows, been featured in many newspapers, and lectured at many academic institutions.

Mama G lives in Hopkins, SC and serves the community by giving workshops promoting self-preservation, mentoring the youth at DJJ. She has also served at the Parks and Recreation dept of the city for 20 years. Mama G’s manuscript will be released later this year showcasing her life from being left for dead in a domestic abuse situation, to her pursuit of her career in Martial Science.
