years until he retired from Griffin Wofford Dental as a Dental Technician. Walters served in the Air Force and Reserves.
Walters served as a faithful Deacon and Usher at Zion Baptist Church.
Walters was preceded in death by siblings Thaddeus Walters, Geraldine Walters Blocker, LT Walters and Otis Walters.
He is survived by his lovely wife of sixty-six years, Ethel Waters Walters; sons, Dr. Louis Walters, Dr. Malcolm Walters Jr., Duane Walters and daughter Dwanna Walters; sister Helen Brewton; grandchildren Brandon Eichelberger, Malcolm J. Walters III, Nicholas Walters, Duane Walters Jr., first cousin Margaret Washington; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral Services
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday May 3, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Zion Baptist Church, 801 Washington Street, Columbia SC 29201.
Wake services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 3:00-6:00 pm at Levy’s Funeral Home. Burial will be on Thursday, May 9 at Ft. Jackson.
