Dr. Reginald A. Bess, Professor of English, German, and Spanish, former President of the College Language Association and former President of the Southeastern Council of Latin American Studies, and member of the Brookland Baptist Professional Male Chorus and the Brookland Baptist Effie Boykin Sanctuary Choir, is the guest Speaker for the Guide Right Induction Ceremony of the Columbia (SC) Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

During the ceremony, young men in grades 6-12 will be inducted into the Kappa League and Kappa Beautillion, respectively. The ceremony will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the C.A. Johnson Senior High School Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.
