Brown’s donation helps students at Forest Heights Elementary School
Local personal injury attorney Marc Brown and his law firm have donated 500 backpacks filed with school supplies to Forest Heights Elementary School (2500 Blue Ridge Terrace, Columbia, SC 29203) students to get them ready for the new school year.
Students were scheduled to pick up the backpacks during the school’s “Meet the Teacher” night on Tuesday, August 6. The event was postponed because of the weather.
Marc earned dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminology from the University of South Carolina in 2009. He is a 2014 Honors Graduate of Emory University’s Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree. He initially began his legal career as an insurance defense lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia. He then transitioned to Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough, where he represented multi-national corporations in complex commercial litigation. In 2019, Marc founded the Marc Brown Law Firm and devoted his practice to representing injury victims and their families.
