Carrie B. White, a native of Hopkins, South Carolina, has been showcasing her artwork at Carolina Technical College, located at 506 N. Guinyard Drive in Sumter. Since July, White’s collection has been on display, captivating visitors with its rustic and floral themes.
White’s watercolor pieces, including “Homestead,” which features the family home, “Auntie” (depicting her aunt smoking a pipe), “Sailboat,” and “Daisies,” have garnered significant attention. “I love water scenes,” White shared, reflecting on her inspiration for “Sailboat.”
Carrie B. White’s exhibition will remain open to the public until Wednesday, September 4th, culminating in an artist reception from 3-6 p.m.
