On Saturday, September 28, 2024, members of The Links Incorporated Columbia SC Chapter along with family, friends, and community members walked to acknowledge and promote healthy living throughout Columbia SC. Link members also walked and distributed voter registration and education information throughout the city; with an intentional start
at our states’ capitol where a local market is held each week.
The Chapter captured information from forty-seven individuals who participated in the walk logging over 385,781 steps, averaging 8386.5 average steps per person. The Chapter was able to distribute over 1,000 pieces of voter post cards in partnership with the Annual Walk-A-Thon.
