The Kappa Foundation of Columbia’s Collie E. Rayford Golf Classic, which was scheduled for Friday, September 27, has been rescheduled for Friday, October 25, at the Windermere Golf Club, 1101 Longtown Rd. E, Blythewood, SC.
The Kappa Foundation of Columbia, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to promoting programs, activities, and providing assistance to enable youth to reach their full potential to become productive citizens.
Proceeds from the tournament are used to support scholarships for students who are entering two- or four-year institutions of higher learning. Funds are also used to support other community-based projects to help persons in need.
The Golf Classic, named after longtime educator and coach Collie E. Rayford, is in its eleventh year under
the Kappa Foundation. The attached flyer details many of his contributions to several school districts and the
Midlands area.
