The Senior Kappa Committee of the Columbia (SC) Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. observed Senior Kappa Week, May 12-18, 2025.
All alumni chapters are encouraged to annually participate by the Senior Kappa Affairs Committee from the Fraternity’s International headquarters. Activities throughout the week included delivery of clothes to the Men’s Transitioning Shelter, health care packages to Oliver Gospel Mission, blankets to NHC Nursing Home, community service home visits to elderly homebound citizens in Ridgeway, SC and to a silhouette (widow) of a recently deceased fraternity member in Newberry, SC.
Additionally, fellowship luncheons were held during the week with senior fraternity members while visiting Newberry and later in Columbia with Chapter brothers. The week’s activities were concluded with attendance at Brookland Baptist Church’s Sunday worship services on May 18 followed by lunch in the Brookland Conference and Convention Center.
