The I. DeQuincey Newman United Methodist Church, United Women in Faith Ministry along with the Committee On Status Role Of Women (COSROW) Ministry invites the community to join them as they celebrate their Annual Women’s Day/ Women in the Pulpit Celebration on Sunday, March 16, 2025, during morning worship beginning at 10 am. This year’s theme will be “Carrying Our Faith Forward – Leaning & Depending on Jesus”. The speaker for this occasion will be the Executive Director of Killingsworth for Women, Susan Collins Sirmons. Director Sirmons has been involved with Killingsworth for over 25 years, serving in various capacities including volunteer, weekend support staff, Intake
Coordinator and now Executive Director.
Killingsworth is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and Nation Mission Institution of United Women in Faith. The organization was established to support; empower and advocate for women recovering from life crises in a safe, nurturing Christian environment.
