The Greater Lakeview Alumni Association is encouraging area residents to make their voices heard by participating in a community Voter Registration Drive on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Brookland Baptist Church, 1032 Monticello Street, West Columbia, South Carolina.
The event is designed to help eligible citizens register to vote and ensure they are prepared to participate in upcoming elections. Volunteers will be available to assist individuals with the voter registration process and answer general questions regarding voter eligibility and registration requirements.
The Greater Lakeview Alumni Association believes that civic engagement begins with voter participation and encourages all eligible residents—especially young adults ages 18 to 30 and first-time voters—to take advantage of this opportunity.
As a special thank-you, free refreshments will be provided to all newly registered voters.
Community members are encouraged to invite their family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers who may need to register to vote or update their voter registration information.
