ics also won the Autonomous Award at the Hartsville qualifier and the Gracious Professionalism Award at the North Charleston qualifier.

Dreher junior Alex Greytak was also named a state semi-finalist for the FIRST Dean’s List award, which recognizes students for their leadership on their team

and community for growing robotics and the awareness of FIRST. The winner will be announced at the state district championship.

Columbia High’s No Cap robotics team, which was formed in January 2025, is in its first season. It is currently ranked 21st out of 35 teams. The No

Cap robotics team won the Rookie All-Star Award at the North Charleston qualifier. The award celebrates a rookie team that exemplifies a young but strong partnership effort, as well as implementing FIRST’s mission to inspire students to learn more about science and technology.
