We want to hear from you about those women. Each fall, Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands honors and celebrates outstanding women from the Midlands who exemplify and align with the Girl Scout mission of courage, confidence, and character.
In 2013, the first Women of Distinction Awards was held to honor women who exemplify excellence through their
professional achievements, service to others, and impact on their community.
Please encourage everyone to nominate a woman in your community. Nominations will close on Friday, June 14, and we’ll announce honorees on Monday, July 8.
We hope everyone will show up to celebrate the women of distinction in our communities for the 2024 Women of Distinction: Midlands at the Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center on Thursday, September 12. The time of the event will be announced as we get closer.
