Friendship AME Church will host its annual Family & Friends Day on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Under the leadership of Pastor Rev. Chaunte Rogers, the Friendship family invites the community to the 10 a.m. service at 1449 Bush River Road in Columbia.
This year’s celebration is themed “Rooted in Love, Grounded in Faith,” reflecting the church’s deep commitment to community, spiritual growth, and enduring fellowship. Family & Friends is a cherished tradition that brings together members, loved ones, and neighbors for a joyful time of worship, unity and connection.
The church is honored to welcome Reverend Talley Lynnette Gadson, M.Div., as the guest preacher for the second year in a row. Rev. Gadson currently serves as District
Superintendent and Chief Missional Strategist for the South Carolina United Methodist Church. Known for her powerful preaching dynamic leadership, and passion for ministry. Rev. Gadson is sure to deliver an inspiring message that resonates with hearts of all ages.
