Join CMA affinity group Friends of African American Arts and Culture (FAAAC) for an unforgettable evening of artistry, connection, and soul at The Movement. This intimate concert experience blends the raw energy of a Tiny Desk session with the warmth of a soulful jam among friends. Hosted by Jamel “Mellow” Moore, The Movement showcases

poetry, spoken word, neo-soul, and R&B, all brought to life by a live band.

Experience powerful performances by She Pharaoh, Crystal Doomes, and Jennifer Bartell Boykin as they weave together music and poetry that sparks joy and creates a cyclical flow of energy between performers and the audience. Whether you’re here to reflect,
