The Richland County Recreation Commission has announced that five Richland One student-athletes have been nominated for the 2025 Richland County High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
Richland One’s Player of the Year nominees and the schools they attend are:
- Madison Mickens – A.C. Flora High School
- Aniah Porter – C.A. Johnson High School
- Destinee Tiller – Eau Claire High School
- Jayla Fulwiley – W.J. Keenan High School
- Sydney Cunningham – Lower Richland High School
The award winner will be announced March 24 during a special banquet for the nominees, their families and their coaches. The winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship or college educational bundle (including an iPad and gift cards) for their hard work and dedication on and off the field.
