Columbia Housing is excited to announce the selection of five finalists for the open Chief Executive Officer position, following the resignation of Yvonda Bean earlier this year. As the largest single
provider of affordable housing in South Carolina, Columbia Housing plays a pivotal role in the community, managing an annual budget of $50 million and serving over 16,000 individuals across more than 20 housing communities.
The finalists were chosen from a competitive pool of candidates, each bringing a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to advancing affordable housing initiatives. Columbia Housing’s Board of Commissioners is confident that these individuals possess the leadership skills necessary to guide the organization into its next chapter.
The finalists will participate in a series of interviews and public forums, allowing community members to engage with them and provide
feedback. The Board is dedicated to selecting a leader who not only aligns with the mission of Columbia Housing but also embodies the values of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
The Board plans to announce the new CEO by the end of this month, ensuring a smooth transition as the organization continues to fulfill its critical mission of providing
safe and affordable housing for those in need.
