The Midlands has a new hotspot for the grown and sexy crowd – EnVee Restaurant & Bar. It is owned by Vanesia “Vee” Kelly, a native of Centenary, SC. She launched EnVee Restaurant & Bar in 2022.
EnVee is a full-service restaurant that offers soul food items such as oxtail, egg rolls, salmon bites, steak, lamb chops and more. The restaurant has a variety of daily specials.
“On Monday’s we offer a steak dinner for $15.99 – an unbeatable price,” said Kelly. “On Tuesdays, we appreciate our customers with a complimentary pasta dish with side salad. We have Taco Thursdays plus our everyday menu.”
The restaurant also has a lounge that features live music. Sunday nights are extremely popular.
“I wanted to create a place where mature adults could come and enjoy a night out with good food and music,” she said. “We have Jazz brunch with Vernessa Pendergrass on the first Sundays of the month. We have DJ Chester hosting brunch on all other Sundays. On Sunday evening, J’Mac’s Affairs host Sunday’s Down South live music event. We have instrumentalists and group bands that perform; entry is free. DJ Prince Ice takes us down memory lane on Sunday nights after the band and during the intermission.”
EnVee also schedules other special events throughout the week.
“On Wednesdays we have
karaoke starting at 8 pm,” Kelly explained. “On Thursdays, David Rodriguez and the Latin Hustle performs live music. Friday and Saturday nights we are a grown folk playground. We are the place where mature adults come to celebrate the end of work week and any other events worthy of celebrating. After 9 pm, adults must be 30 and up to enter.”
When asked what makes EnVee Restaurant & Bar unique, she replied, “We offer live entertainment in a visually appealing facility. We cater to a 3 0 + crowd.”
